Langston Galloway expected to play about 20 minutes as Pistons' backup point guard

Detroit Pistons guard Langston Galloway is expected to play roughly 20 minutes as the team's backup point guard, reports The Detroit News' Rod Beard.

What It Means:

This is a beat reporter's opinion, but Beard is pretty tuned into things with Detroit. He specifically said that, with Reggie Jackson (ankle) out, Galloway would see 20 minutes behind Ish Smith's 28 from the starting spot. It's unknown if Stan Van Gundy will opt to play Smith and Galloway alongside one another as long as Jackson's sidelined.

Galloway's averaging 11.7 FanDuel points in 14.6 minutes per game this season. At $4,400, he's projected for his season-average in Thursday's road game against the Orlando Magic.
