Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons scored 27 points (10-of-16 field goals, 7-of-9 free throws) with 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 block, and 5 turnovers in 35.9 minutes of Sunday's 131-124 loss to the New Orleans Pelicans.
Simmons is shooting 57.3 percent on 5.2 free throw attempts per game this season, so it was an encouraging performance at the stripe, in addition to the points, boards, and dimes. The 76ers take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday.
