76ers' Markelle Fultz (shoulder) out another three weeks
Philadelphia 76ers rookie guard Markelle Fultz will be sidelined another three weeks, reports NBC Sports' Jessica Camerato.
In a statement on Saturday, Philadelphia announced that Fultz is no longer experiencing soreness in his right shoulder and that his muscle imbalance has been resolved. He is going to continue his physical therapy and maintenance program, but he'll also participate in strength-and-condition training as well as "elevated" on-court basketball activities. It's been a slow process, but it looks like Fultz is headed in the direction of a healthy return. Jerryd Bayless, T.J. McConnell and Dario Saric will continue to absorb his minutes until he's back on the floor.
Our models project Fultz to average 9.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 24.7 minutes a game over 53 games the rest of the season.
