Dennis Smith (hip) out Friday, at least two games for Dallas
According to the Dallas News' Eddie Sefko, Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith will miss the next two games, including Friday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Smith has been playing through some groin discomfort stemming from a hip issue. He'll be given what will be at least three days off with him ruled out through Sunday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Yogi Ferrell should start as J.J. Barea and Devin Harris log extra minutes off the Dallas bench until Smith's return.
Prior to being ruled out, Smith was projected for 28.1 minutes and 24.7 FanDuel points in tonight's matchup. If he's to return Tuesday against the Spurs, our models like him to produce 22.4 FanDuel points in his return to the lineup.
