Robert Covington goes 7-of-12 for 19 points in 76ers' loss
Philadelphia 76ers forward Robert Covington scored 19 points (7-of-12 field goals, 4-of-6 3-pointers) with 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 blocks in 36.3 minutes of Thursday's 107-104 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
In the five previous games heading into Thursday, Covington had gone 20-for-68 (29.4 percent) from the floor and 12-for-47 (25.5 percent) from deep, so it was nice to see the shots fall, even in a tough loss for the Sixers. It was the first time since November 27 that Covington shot over 50.0 percent from the floor, and he'll look to make it two-in-a-row on Saturday in Cleveland against the Cavaliers.
Covington scored 41.2 FanDuel points on Thursday, and he's averaging 30.6 FanDuel points per game this season.
