Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) sits out Blazers' practice on Thursday
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic did not participate in Thursday's practice, according to TrailBlazers.com's Casey Holdahl.
What It Means:
Nurkic sprained his right ankle in Tuesday's home loss to the Washington Wizards. There hasn't been much in the way of the severity of the injury, but until we get further clarification he could either miss a few games or play as early as Saturday against the Houston Rockets. If he misses time, Ed Davis, Meyers Leonard and Noah Vonleh figure to see more minutes in the Portland frontcourt.
If Nurkic plays, our models project him for 27.6 minutes and tally 33.3 FanDuel points on Saturday night.
