Grizzlies have no plans to trade Marc Gasol

Memphis Grizzlies general manager Chris Wallace reiterated that the team is not looking to trade center Marc Gasol.

What It Means:

Wallace also noted that he would not be looking to trade point guard Mike Conley, telling the media that he and the Grizzlies are pushing forward rather than rebuilding. All this comes two days after the firing of head coach David Fizdale, who appeared to be at odds with the 32-year-old Gasol.

To this point, Gasol's -0.8 nERD is the worst of his 10-year career. He's projected to average 19.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steal per game over the remainder of the season.
