Hawks' Dewayne Dedmon (tibia) will miss three-to-six weeks with stress fracture
Atlanta Hawks center Dewayne Dedmon (tibia) will be out the next three-to-six weeks with a stress fracture in his left leg.
It's never a good sign for big men when they get leg injuries, so the Hawks will sit out Dedmon. With the season going nowhere, they will also probably be extra cautious bringing him back. We could see John Collins play center more, and Miles Plumlee will likely see heavier minutes while Dedmon is out. Once Mike Muscala comes back from injury, he'll be in the mix as well.
Our models project Dedmon for averages of 4.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 1.4 blocks per game remaining this season.
