Bulls' Zach LaVine (knee) unlikely to make debut until late December
On Tuesday, Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg indicated that guard Zach LaVine likely won't make his regular-season debut until late December.
Hoiberg said, "He's had three really good days with us since he's been cleared for full contact." The coach also said that LaVine's been playing 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 with the next goal being 5-on-5 participation. He'll practice with the Bulls' G-League affiliate and continue to work on his conditioning. When he does return, he'll play with a minutes cap but steal minutes from guys like Justin Holiday, Kris Dunn and Jerian Grant all the same.
Our models have LaVine down for averages of 16.0 points, 2.3 threes, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists this season.
