Norman Powell to continue to play from Raptors' bench
Toronto Raptors coach Dwane Casey indicated that guard/forward Norman Powell will continue to stick with the second unit, according to Josh Lewenberg of TSN Sports.
Since returning from injury, Powell has been operating from the bench after starting the first 12 games of the season. OG Anunoby, who started in his stead, will continue to run with the first team as Casey likes Powell's fit with second unit and Anunoby's role with the first.
Powell is averaging 14.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 26.9 minutes a game off the bench through 3 games. He's projected to average 11.2 points and 20.5 minutes per game over the remainder of the season for Toronto.
