76ers' Joel Embiid scores a career-high 46 points in win over the Lakers
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid erupted for a career game on Wednesday, racking up 46 points, 15 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 blocks in 34.5 minutes of action in a 115-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
It's hard to over-state just how dominant Embiid was in this one, going 14-of-20 from the field, 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 16-of-19 from 3-point range and only turning the ball over twice. The 23-year-old said after the game that his conditioning level is still only at 69%, but this incredibly nice performance brings him up to 23.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.9 blocks in 29.0 minutes per game on the season.
numberFire's models project Embiid to keep rolling with 22.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.6 blocks against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday.
