Danilo Gallinari (hip) expected to miss at least 1-2 more games for Rockets
Los Angeles Clippers small forward Danilo Gallinari (hip) is expected to miss "at least one or two" games on the upcoming five-game road trip, head coach Doc Rivers said.
That puts Gallinari in doubt for Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Saturday against the Charlotte Hornets. He hasn't played since November 5. Wes Johnson, Sindarius Thornwell, and Jawun Evans should all continue help filling the void in the Clippers' rotation.
Gallinari is averaging 24.1 FanDuel points in nine games this season. numberFire's models project him for 21.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 2.7 3-pointers, and 1.4 turnovers on a 45.9 field goal percentage and 44.4 3-point percentage in 34.4 minutes per game over the remainder of the year.
