Orlando's Jonathon Simmons wants to be seen as 'elite player'
Orlando Magic guard/forward Jonathon Simmons said that he wants to be viewed as an "elite player" in the NBA.
Simmons says, "[I'm working on] expanding my offensive game and showing that I'm more than just a energy guy." He continued to speak of everything he brings to a team and the fact that he's looking to outplay his sixth man standing in Orlando. In his time with the Spurs and in limited time this season, he has shown that he's an above-average player and a great scorer, off the bench or not.
Simmons is averaging 15.0 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.1 assists across 25.3 minutes a night. He's projected for 12.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.6 assists, for a total of 22.3 FanDuel points tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers. He comes at $4,500 on Wednesday's slate.
