Rajon Rondo (sports hernia) is available to play on Monday night for New Orleans
New Orleans Pelicans guard Rajon Rondo (sports hernia) is available to play on Monday night versus the Atlanta Hawks but will be restricted to just 6 minutes
Rondo will be making his season debut off the bench on Monday but will be eased into action, as you can tell by the minutes restriction. The Pelicans initially said the point guard would not be available to play until November 17 but is apparently beating the expectations. It will likely be a few games before Rondo is back up to full speed and joins the Pels' starting lineup.
Our models project Rondo for 9.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.5 steals in 27.4 minutes per game after he gets up to full speed.
