Austin Rivers (ankle) questionable for Clippers on Friday

According to the Los Angeles Times' Brad Turner, Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers is considered questionable for Friday's game with a mild left ankle sprain.

What It Means:

The injury, suffered in practice on Thursday, comes at a very bad time for the Clippers. Patrick Beverley (knee) has already been ruled out for a couple games, so that leaves Lou Williams to carry a heavy load in the backcourt if Rivers is also to miss time. He'll be joined by youngsters Sindarius Thornwell and Jawun Evans in filling the shoes of Rivers and Beverley.

Facing the Oklahoma City Thunder, Rivers is projected for 11.5 points, 2.6 assists and 2.0 rebounds across 27.8 minutes of action Friday night.
