Heat not committing to Justise Winslow as starter

Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra would not commit to Justise Winslow being the team's starting power forward following Wednesday's win over the Phoenix Suns.

What It Means:

Spoelstra has switched up the lineup of late, starting Winslow -- not James Johnson -- beside Hassan Whiteside. It's now been three straight starts for Winslow, who has played a factor in winning two of those three games, with the lone loss coming at Golden State. Winslow had his best game of the year as he scored an efficient 14 points with two three-pointers, six rebounds and five assists on Wednesday night. Despite that, Spoelstra said, "Nothing is in cement right now."

In the 3 starts, Winslow is averaging 7.3 points (on 37.5% shooting), 5.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists across 28 minutes per game. That comes to 20.7 FanDuel points. As for Friday's game against the Utah Jazz, our models project him to put up 18.2 FanDuel points in 26.8 minutes action in whatever role he's deployed in.
