D.J. Augustin (hamstring) expected to miss Orlando's upcoming four-game road trip

Orlando Magic point guard D.J. Augustin is not expected to play in Orlando's four-game road trip, according to head coach Frank Vogel.

What It Means:

“I don’t anticipate that [D.J. can play on the trip],” Vogel said. “He’s really just in the mindset that he’s going to continue to try to improve and see how he responds from treatment.” That would keep Augustin out until at least November 18 against the Utah Jazz. With Elfrid Payton back and cooking, the Magic will likely take a conservative approach with Augustin's return. Shelvin Mack will work as the backup point guard in Orlando.

Prior to going down, Augustin averaged 21.2 FanDuel points in eight games with 8.3 points, 5.1 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 0.9 3-pointers per contest.
