Andrew Wiggins leads Timberwolves with 17 in loss to Warriors
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Andrew Wiggins scored 17 points across 32 minutes in the team's 125-101 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
Wiggins was aggressive to start off the night, scoring eight points on 4-of-7 shooting in the first quarter. After that, though, he went scoreless in the second quarter and finished the rest of the game 2-of-7 from the floor as the Timberwolves slowly got blown out in the second half. On the plus side, he did add six boards, four steals and three assists in the losing effort.
At $6,300, Wiggins surpassed 5x value and his projected 30.8 FanDuel points by posting 37.7 FD points in 32-plus minutes. The 22-year-old is now averaging 30.4 FD points and is projected for 35.1 in his weekend meeting against the Phoenix Suns.
