Spurs' Tony Parker (quad) expected back in December
San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker is expected to return to the team's lineup in December.
Head coach Gregg Popovich suggested that Parker's rehab is going well. "Tony's at the point where he's been going 5-on-5 and that kind of thing," Popovich said. He added, "It'll be a few more weeks. But he's definitely going in the right direction." The Spurs will be cautious with their 35-year-old veteran and he should see limited minutes and off days even when he returns. Patty Mills and Dejounte Murray will continue to get a lot of burn until then.
Our models have Parker down for averages of 10.5 points, 4.3 assists and 26.2 minutes in his 17th NBA season.
