Kristaps Porzingis (ankle, elbow) is out Wednesday as Knicks play on second night of back-to-back
New York Knicks forward/center Kristaps Porzingis (ankle, elbow) will not play Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.
Porzingis is really banged up, and with the Knicks playing on the second night of a back to back, and their third game in four nights, they will play it safe with their potential All Star. New York doesn't play again until Saturday, which also probably made the decision to sit Porzingis out a little easier. Tim Hardaway Jr. will be a usage monster tonight, while Michael Beasley, Willy Hernangomez, and Mindaugas Kuzminskas will all see more run.
Our models project Porzingis for averages of 18.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.9 blocks over 32.5 minutes per game remaining this season.
