Hawks' Ersan Ilyasova (knee) not expected to play this weekend
Atlanta Hawks coach Mike Budenholzer said that forward Ersan Ilyasova is not traveling ahead of the team's next two games, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Cunningham.
Ilyasova was expected to miss 1-to-2 weeks and is closing in on two weeks as the weekend nears. He won't play against the Detroit Pistons or Washington Wizards on Friday or Saturday, meaning John Collins and Mike Muscala, if healthy, will play power forward. It's also an option to roll out Luke Babbitt in Budenholzer's smallball lineups.
Projected for 21.8 and 21.7 FanDuel points in those 2 contests, Ilyasova is in line to average 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds over 71 games the rest of the season.
