Al-Farouq Aminu expected to miss 2-3 weeks for Trail Blazers
Portland Trail Blazers forward Al-Farouq Aminu (ankle) is expected to be sidelined 2-3 weeks with a right ankle sprain.
It's an early-season bummer for Blazers fans and fantasy owners, as Aminu was averaging 9.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 1.3 blocks, and 0.9 steals per game to start the season. Until he returns, Noah Vonleh, Caleb Swanigan, Zach Collins, Pat Connaughton, and Moe Harkless all figure to help fill the void in Portland's rotation.
Aminu was averaging 27.4 FanDuel points in eight games this season. Once he returns, numberFire's models project him for 9.5 points on 43.4 percent shooting from the field in 26.6 minutes with 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 blocks, and 0.8 steals per game over the remainder of the year.
