Grizzlies' Ben McLemore (foot) sent to G-League on rehab assignment
The Memphis Grizzlies are assigning shooting guard Ben McLemore to its G-League affiliate Memphis Hustle, reports ESPN's Chris Haynes.
As McLemore works his way back from offseason foot surgery, he will begin his rehab in the G-League before returning to the NBA hardwood. He should be back in about two weeks with a chance to start or play big minutes. He'll have Tyreke Evans, Andrew Harrison and Wayne Selden to compete with for minutes upon his return.
Over 1,848 minutes, McLemore is projected for 740 points on 41.4% shooting and 37.1% from three the rest of the year.
