Hornets' Cody Zeller (knee) to remain out Friday against Rockets
Charlotte Hornets coach Steve Clifford said that power forward/center Cody Zeller will not play in Friday's game against the Houston Rockets.
A report yesterday suggested that Zeller is without a timetable as he deals with a right knee bruise. He could miss time beyond Friday although he's said that the bruise isn't as bad as one that kept him out for extended time last year. Part of the Hornets' cautious approach might have to do with the breakout of Frank Kaminsky. Kaminsky may not start but he still stands to benefit most from Zeller's absence.
While Zeller has played in just a single game this season, our models like him to tally 647 points, 424 rebounds and 81 blocks in 1,860 minutes the rest of the year.
