Brooklyn's D'Angelo Russell (knee) doubtful Wednesday against Cleveland
Brooklyn Nets point guard D'Angelo Russell is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to The Associated Press' Michael Scotto, Russell has been diagnosed with a right knee sprain after tweaking his knee in Tuesday's loss to the Orlando Magic. He was able to finish and coach Kenny Atkinson downplayed the injury, but on a back-to-back it's very likely that Russell sits in Brooklyn. That will leave the point guard minutes to Spencer Dinwiddie and Isaiah Whitehead, but Caris LeVert could benefit most as the main facilitator in the Nets' offense.
Over 31.8 projected minutes, Russell is set for 17.0 points, 4.9 assists and 33.0 FanDuel points in tonight's matchup. If he can give it a go, his injury risk will come at a price of $7,800.
