Timberwolves' Jimmy Butler (illness) sitting out second straight game Wednesday night
Minnesota Timberwolves guard/forward Jimmy Butler will not suit up on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.
Butler is listed with an upper respiratory infection, which will sideline him for a second straight game. The Timberwolves' new addition was a late scratch last night and allowed Shabazz Muhammad to get the start. Wednesday's starting lineup is uncertain, but Muhammad, Jamal Crawford and Nemanja Bjelica could all see roughly the same minutes as they did a night ago.
Our models had Butler pegged for 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists prior to being ruled out for Wednesday's tilt. His projected 37.9 minutes will have to be spread among the three previously mentioned players.
