Utah's Dante Exum (shoulder) undergoes successful surgery on Tuesday
Utah Jazz point guard Dante Exum underwent successful surgery to stability the AC joint in his left shoulder.
Exum is out indefinitely but we should expect status updates along the way. The fear is that he'll miss yet another season with the injury, but there is an outside possibility that he suffered the injury early enough that he will be able to play at the tail end of the season. Until he is healthy enough, Donovan Mitchell and Raul Neto will back up Ricky Rubio in Utah.
In 3-plus seasons, Exum has now missed 101 of 249 possible games. The 22-year-old has averaged just 5.4 points and 2.1 assists so far for his career.
