According to the Charlotte Observer's Rick Bonnell, Charlotte Hornets point guard Michael Carter-Williams will not play Wednesday against Denver Nuggets.
The 26-year-old has yet to suit up this season and doesn't appear close to a return yet. However, he may be forced back as soon as possible, with Kemba Walker logging big minutes and Julyan Stone (hamstring) sidelined for 4-to-6 weeks. Rookie Malik Monk will probably get some more time at point guard as Walker continues to play high into the 30s.
Prior to being ruled out, Carter-Williams was projected for 20.7 FanDuel points and 23.6 minutes in Wednesday's home matchup.
