Nuggets' Juan Hernangomez out 4-to-6 weeks with mononucleosis
Denver Nuggets forward Juan Hernangomez is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks after being diagnosed with mononucleosis.
Hernangomez has played just 13 minutes through two games, so he has been a rotational player at best. All the same, the Nuggets will be just a big thinner at forward as he sits out an extended period of time. That could mean more minutes for Wilson Chandler and an appearance or two by Malik Beasley.
With zero production so far this season, we project Hernangomez for 7.3 points in 19.3 minutes per game the rest of the year.
