Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton (hamstring strain) has been ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.
Payton sat out Saturday and D.J. Augustin put up a double-double, while Shelvin Mack played 21 minutes off the bench. It appears Payton could be out for a bit after he missed practice on Monday, so Augustin is a nice streaming option in Week 2.
Our models project Payton for averages of 14.8 points, 7.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 steals over 33.9 minutes per game remaining this season.
