Dallas Mavericks rookie guard Dennis Smith Jr. (left knee effusion) is questionable for Monday's game versus the Golden State Warriors.
Smith has been held out the last two games due to a "little swelling" in his knee, but it's not believed to be a big deal. If he misses another contest, J.J. Barea figures to benefit the most from the rookie's absence.
In his NBA debut on Wednesday, Smith scored 31.6 FanDuel points with 16 points, 1 3-pointers, 10 assists, and 3 rebounds on 6-of-12 shooting from the field in almost 30 minutes. numberFire's models project him to average 13.3 points, 1.1 3-pointers, 5.6 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 28.4 minutes per game over the remainder of the season.
