Raptors' Jonas Valanciunas sprains ankle, will not return on Saturday
Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas sprained his ankle in the first half of Saturday's game versus the Philadelphia 76ers and will not return, per Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun.
Valanciunas injured his ankle as he got tangled up with Dario Saric. He was fouled, shot his free throws, but then went to the locker room. Jakob Poeltl and Lucas Nogueira will be in line for heavy minutes in the second half. Expect further details on the injury after the game, but consider him day-to-day for now.
