Orlando's Elfrid Payton leaves Friday's game early with hamstring strain
Orlando Magic point guard Elfrid Payton will not return to Friday's game after suffering a hamstring strain, per John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com.
What It Means:
Payton played 14 minutes in the first half before suffering the injury on Friday. He was immediately ruled out and looks doubtful to play on Saturday night. D.J. Augustin and Shelvin Mack will handle point guard duties as long as Payton is out.
Payton finished 2-for-6 from the floor with 4 points and 4 assists against the Brooklyn Nets.
