Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr will not play on Friday or Saturday night due to a left knee effusion.
What It Means:
Smith tore his ACL in his left knee during high school and is now dealing with some swelling. No word on how severe the effusion is or who will replace him in a depleted Mavericks backcourt.
