Devin Harris (personal) taking a leave of absence, will not play for Dallas on Friday
Dallas Mavericks guard Devin Harris is taking a leave of absence and will not play on Friday night, following the death of his brother.
Harris will take as long as he needs, according to coach Rick Carlisle, after his brother Bruce died in a car crash on Thursday. The veteran guard played 16 minutes, scoring 10 points in Wednesday's season opener. J.J. Barea and Yogi Ferrall will see an uptick in minutes with Harris away from the team.
Harris was projected for 13.2 FanDuel points on Friday after collecting 11 fantasy points against the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday.
