Julius Randle (ribs) frustrated with his bench role for the Lakers
Los Angeles Lakers forward Julius Randle (ribs) was seemingly frustrated with not starting on Thursday and still may not be 100%, according to head coach Luke Walton.
Randle came off the bench in the season opener on Thursday after being limited in practice with a rib injury. Walton believed the fourth-year forward would dominate on the second-unit against the backup big men, but that didn't happen. The coach blamed Randle's frustrations about not starting (plus his injury) for the disappointing performance against the Los Angeles Clippers. Randle scored just 9 points with 6 rebounds in 18 minutes on Thursday.
Our models project Randle for 11.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 25.4 minutes of action on Friday for 25.8 FanDuel points.
