Marquese Chriss set to be more productive from Suns' bench Friday night
Phoenix Suns power forward Marquese Chriss is projected for 8.7 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 19.8 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
In Wednesday's season debut, Chriss was relegated to the bench as Josh Jackson started and Dragan Bender also got time in the Suns' rotation. To say that he was unsuccessful in his role would be an understatement. In 12-plus minutes, Chriss contributed just two points, one rebound and one block while accounting for two turnovers and five fouls. He will again be on the bench tonight, but he'll have to prove his worth if he wants to earn more minutes.
In tonight's home game against the Lakers, we project Chriss for 18.3 FanDuel points at a decreased price of $4,000.
