Boston's Marcus Smart (ankles) 'likely' out on Friday against Philadelphia
Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said that guard Marcus Smart is "likely out" for Friday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Smart said that he sprained both his ankles and considered himself questionable. However, Stevens makes it sound like Smart is more doubtful. It appears that his left ankle is the one that could keep him out of tonight's matchup. If that holds, Terry Rozier could start or see big minutes off the bench for the Celtics.
Smart's 30-plus minutes will be up for grabs, which bodes well for a replacement like Rozier, especially with the Celtics implied at 107.25 points in the matchup.
