Philadelphia's Ben Simmons shines in rookie debut Wednesday night
Philadelphia 76ers forward Ben Simmons delivered 18 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists in Wednesday's 120-115 loss to the Washington Wizards.
Simmons was a physical presence and showed off a quick first step against Otto Porter and company. He got out in the open floor, crashed the board and acted as a creator in the Philadelphia offense. Meanwhile, he shot 7-of-15 from the field with zero three-point attempts in 34-plus minutes.
At a price of $5,600, Simmons was projected for 24.0 FanDuel points but shattered that in tallying 45.5 FanDuel points in his first ever regular season game. For a second act, we like Simmons to account for 22.3 FanDuel points in 26.8 minutes Friday versus the Boston Celtics.
