Pelicans' DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis could see big minutes together in 2017-18

New Orleans Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry said that he hopes to have DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis on the floor as much as possible this season.

What It Means:

That may sound obvious, with the two big men being the best players on the New Orleans roster, but this should speak to Gentry's willingness to pair the two together for long periods of time. He even touched on the need for both to be on the floor, one way or another, against small lineups. Given that, their minutes should be safe and they should both be great fantasy options this season.

For Wednesday's season debut against the Memphis Grizzlies, Cousins is projected for 42.8 FanDuel points while Davis is in line for 50.6 FanDuel points. The two cost $10,200 and $10,800, respectively.
