Joel Embiid (knee) will suit up for the 76ers on Wednesday
Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will suit up for the Sixers' season-opener against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
Embiid will be kept on a tight minutes limit to start the season, according to head coach Brett Brown, and he's expected to play minutes "in the teens" in this one. That leaves plenty of playing time available at center for Jahlil Okafor, while Dario Saric and Amir Johnson may pick up some additional minutes at the five in small-ball lineups.
Without yet accounting for his minutes limit, numberFire's models project Embiid for 30.4 FanDuel points on 14.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 blocks in 24.4 minutes of action tonight.
