Jeremy Lamb (groin) to start for Hornets on Wednesday

Charlotte Hornets guard/forward Jeremy Lamb (groin) will be in the starting lineup against the Detroit Pistons for Wednesday's season opener.

What It Means:

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (personal) and Nicolas Batum (elbow) are both unavailable, so Lamb will join Kemba Walker, Marvin Williams, Dwight Howard, and an unnamed fifth starter in the Hornets' starting five tonight. Lamb practiced in full on Tuesday and should log plenty of minutes in tonight's season opener.

numberFire's models project Lamb to score 29.9 FanDuel points at a cost of only $3,500 on Wednesday, giving him lots of potential value as a budget option for DFS owners.
