LeBron James leads the Cavaliers to a 102-99 Opening Night victory
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James nearly had a triple-double on Opening Night, logging 29 points, 16 rebounds, and 9 assists in Tuesday's 102-99 win over the Boston Celtics.
James entered the game questionable to play with a bad ankle but looked anything but as he carried the Cavs to victory. Bron was 12-of-19 from the floor while his newest teammates (Dwyane Wade, Derek Rose, and Jae Crowder) went a combined 11-for-34 from the field for 32.3%. James added 2 blocks including one on Celtics' forward Jayson Tatum's first shot of his career. The game went down to the wire with Bron's layup with just over a minute remaining, marking the final lead change of the night.
James finished with a game-high 63.7 FanDuel points, providing 6.1x value on his $10,400 salary.
