Chicago Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic has been hospitalized and is out indefinitely following an in-practice altercation with teammate Bobby Portis.
According to The Vertical's Shams Charania, Portis struck Mirotic in the face following a shoving altercation at Tuesday's practice. Mirotic is at the hospital undergoing tests, but he's expected to be out for the foreseeable future. Pending any discipline, Portis and Lauri Markkanen will fill his role as the team's starting power forward.
A late round pick in fantasy drafts, Mirotic is projected for 15.4 points, 2.2 threes and 5.7 rebounds per game this season.
