Pau Gasol wants Spurs to remain aggressive with team banged up
San Antonio Spurs center Pau Gasol says he doesn't want the team to start the season thinking about holding the fort with two of their starters out.
Kawhi Leonard has been ruled out Wednesday and Tony Parker is going to miss most of the first half, but Gasol wants his team to remain focused. “What you want to be is be aggressive and play your best with the guys you have and focus on the things we can control like (maintaining) our defensive principles and making sure we play unselfishly and well offensively," Gasol said. Without Leonard to start the year, Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge will need to step up their scoring.
