Toronto Raptors guard/forward C.J. Miles will likely be coming off the bench in Thursday's season opener against the Chicago Bulls, based on comments from head coach Dwane Casey.
Casey praised Miles for his performance as a "bench leader," seemingly suggesting that Norman Powell will open the year as the Raptors' starting small forward. Miles could still be worth a look as a 3-point specialist in deeper formats. He averaged 2.2 3-pointers per game last season on a career-high 41.3 percentage from downtown.
numberFire's models project Miles to average 10.6 points and 2.3 3-pointers this season while shooting 42.5 percent from the field and 38.9 percent on 3-point attempts.
