J.J. Redick set to improve 76ers' effectiveness from three

Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard J.J. Redick is projected for a team-high 166 three-pointers in his first season in a 76ers uniform.

What It Means:

Last year, Robert Covington led the team with 137 made threes on 33.3% from shooting from downtown. As a team, Philadelphia averaged 10.1 three-balls per game but on just 34% shooting, ranking them 25th in the NBA in that category. New addition J.J. Redick should help to improve those numbers as a prolific perimeter shooter.

Our models project Redick for 15.7 points and 2.3 threes in 29.2 minutes per game. As the team's starting two-guard on Wednesday, we like him -- at $4,400 -- to total 23.1 FanDuel points and 2.5 threes in his Sixers debut.
