Utah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio has been working on becoming more consistent with his outside shot during training camp and the preseason.
The Jazz want the career 37.5% field goal shooter to improve but aren't going to apply pressure for immediate change. The team sees it as a long-term goal for the still only 26-year-old point guard to work on. Rubio shot a career-high 40.2% last season.
Our models project Rubio for 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game while shooting 46.2% from the floor this season.
