Lakers could start Kyle Kuzma during Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's suspension
Los Angeles Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma is being considered as a possible starter while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope serves a two-game suspension to start the season.
Luke Walton is also considering Jordan Clarkson, Luol Deng, Corey Brewer and Josh Hart for the starting spot. The decision could be a couple days away, as the Lakers don't open their season until Thursday night when they take on the Los Angels Clippers.
numberFire's models project Kuzma for 6.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 16.0 minutes per game this season. We also project the Lakers for a 19.6% chance of scoring a win in their season-opener.
