Terrence Ross (hamstring) could miss Magic season opener

Orlando Magic small forward Terrence Ross (hamstring) did not practice on Monday putting his availability for Wednesday's season opener in question, per John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com.

What It Means:

Ross was dealing with a hamstring issue last week but seems to have re-aggravated it. Coach Frank Vogel would not rule out Ross for Wednesday as he is hopeful Ross could practice on Tuesday. If Ross sits out, Jonathan Simmons or Jonathan Isacc will get the start with both players seeing an uptick in minutes.

Our models project Ross for 11.3 points, 1.7 three-pointers, 3.2 rounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game this season.
